I became enchanted with Winifred Horan when I bought her debut CD. This is more of the same fabulous Celtic style modern music and extremely enjoyable. I highly rate it for their individual talent as well as the music they chose. I LOVE it!

Great Album. I had never heard of this performer before. I saw a show on TV that used the waltz - A daisy in December. My wife loved the tune and after a bit of web surfing...I found it. What a fantastic album. One of my new favorites.

I have been a loyal fan of American-Irish supergroup Solas for some time now, but surprisingly, I have only just purchased a copy of 'Serenade', the first offering from band members Winnie Horan & Mick McCauley. I wish I had got hold of a copy of this album when it was first released, as I now know what I have been missing!!! A truly superior recording of two virtuoso musicians who are really enjoying what they are doing. You can actually hear their enjoyment!! If you need convincing, just take a listen yourself. If you love Irish music, then this album will blow you away, even though Winnie & Mick have given their own interpretation to the genre. This music thus has both an authentic Celtic sound, but is also bang up to date. A rare joy to be sure. I can't recommend it enough!!!
