From Dark Horse Comics. Due to overwhelming demand, Dark Horse is creating a special variant edition of one of our most popular new releases, the Serenity ornament. As Serenity fans know, there is a sequence in the film where the crews disguises Serenity as a Reaver ship. Dark Horse has taken the existing ornament, added a few sculptural details, and revised the paint application to create a 6"-long, 3 1/2"-wide treat for true Serenity fans.

This is a really beautiful ornament with exceptional detail. If you are a Firefly/Serenity fan, this is an excellent choice for display on a desk or Christmas tree.

It is definitely a collectible designed for adults (or mature teenagers). The delicate parts would be inappropriate for small kids.

"Flying" through the 'verse (in my trophy case) are two very well known spacecraft. Serenity and the Reaver are like a couple of ships in space flying along side her opposite. Sure they are dwarfed by the models of the USS Arizona & the USS Missouri that are also in the case. The reaver gave one of my friends a little fit..... wondering where the heck that came from? Oh well once in a while its good to find a gem that wasn't known by everyone..........

You know I really wanted the regular ship. Now I am glad I bought this one. The ship looks a lot better in person and seems to be very durable. Really I think it is one of the best little models I have. I really love the thing.
