Awesome,

He has beautiful renditions of many old tradional songs. I bought the CD for the song Whispering Hope, a song my mother used to sing. Besides Ave Maria and Panis Angelicus, "Bring flowers of the Rarest" will surely bring back many fond memories of the May processions in the good old Catholic School days. This was the first alblum of his I bought. I have bought every one he has released since. If you have this one, I suggest you get the one where he sings. He only made one. It's called "Words and Music". And you must try to get his "Phil Coulters Christmas".

Beautifully Done,
This review is from: Serenity (Audio Cassette)
I purchased this album particularly for Panis Angelicus. Coulter's rendition of that popular Franck piece is inspiring to singer and listener alike. But I have been equally impressed by the entire content of the album: all of it masterfully played and enchanting. Serenity more than lives up to its title. Bravo!

First picked this cd up in Ireland (as a cassette).Driving up into the mountains in the middle of the Ring of Kerry the song Nearer My God to Thee came on just as we were reaching the peaks. It was an awesome feeling.

Coulter's music immediately spoke to me, and 'Serenity' is the 3-generation favorite of the Coulter CDs I own (with 5 more on order). Our tastes differ, but 'Meditation' sooths me, 'The Bells of Angelus' readily moves me to a different realm, and 'Bring Flowers of the Fairest' is an elderly aunt's top pick. The youngest generation is as quick to play this CD as they are to select rock, ballads or their other favorite music. Coulter is a past, present and future artist who creatively crosses boundaries with music and spirit. Try to tire of this selection. I'm betting you cannot. While awaiting arrival of the new CDs, 'Any Dream Will Do.'

Another CD showing off Phil Coulter's wonderful talent. Serenity is the perfect title, too. This music can calm a person, after any kind of bad day. I never tire of it, and play it almost constantly.

This CD is truly the essence of Serenity!,

I have been a fan of Phil Coulter for several years. I first heard of him through my collection of James Galway's CDs. I have been listening to the CD all evening on my computer and love it. I also purchased "Legends," by James Galway and Phil Coulter at the same time.
I would love to know who the lady is with the fabulous soprano voice on the "Serenity" CD. Her voice is a great addition to the beautiful "Ave Maria" as well as some of the others. I could listen to Phil Coulter play the piano all day, every day. Deloresw

I bought this album on vinyl more years ago than I care to remember. These are all great tunes, improved by Coulter's instrumentation and production. Lovely.

Played for the first time after a heavy snow while following a stream on a tree shrouded country road. Will never forget that soul soothing experience.

Wonderful relaxing music,

This is one of my favorites! I bought the cassette after hearing it in a small shop in Gatlinburg, TN. The music was simply so relaxing and peaceful. Later I bought the CD so I could have a copy for home and car. During a hectic day when I have too much housework to do, I put in the CD and allow the music to wash away some of the stress.
