I've had my share of floor pumps over the years. This one has the nicest pump head of any of the ones I've used. It fits securely on stems with short exposure and comes off with no strain on the stem (a problem with some others I've had).
As another reviewer said, the pump is a little shorter than other floor pumps. It's a strange design decision. I can't imagine it would cost more that a few cents to produce the pump 3" longer. It's not too short as to be a real problem, but it is something you notice.
Another item I think is lacking (at this price point) is any means to lock the handle in the down position for storage or transport. Six more inches of hose would have allowed the hose to go over the handles and back down to the head clip, thus holding the handle in place.

This FP-200 pump has replaced an old bike pump from the mid-80's. And what a blessing it is. It's easy to use and pumps up tires in fewer strokes than my old pump. Although I considered getting the Serfas WFP-200 pump designed for women, I couldn't stand having a bike pump of that color scheme in the garage. (The pink barrel is bad enough, but flowers too? And that frilly lettering. Ugh.) This pump works great, no trouble with the height or the amount of effort required for each stroke for me. It also gets used once a week to keep the tires of a small car at their proper pressure: it takes only 7-8 strokes to put 1 pound of air in this car's tires. It threw me a little at first the way the pump head attaches to a tire stem because the lever lifts up to lock into position and then pushes down to release. But I've come to prefer this way, as it attaches to the tire stem securely and releases easily.

There's also attention to detail in the design. My favorite is that the needle attachments fit right into a holder on the hose so they are always handy and not likely to get lost. The gauge at the top of the barrel is easy to see. As an extra aid, a little red arrow on the edge of the gauge can be set to point to the desired pressure, which is helpful for judging how much more you need to keep pumping. There's also a clip to hold the pump head to keep it off the floor.

Very pleased with this tire pump. It easily pumps up everything I've tried it on: bike tires (120 psi), car tires (32 psi), the mini-spare tire (60 psi) that lives at the bottom of the trunk, and a couple of sports balls. Been using it 9 months now with no trouble.

Easy to use; no leakage at the valve interface; easy to read pressure gauge. I'm using it primarily on road bikes, Presta valves, 120 psi.

Used it without issue for 2 months, then it became tougher to latch onto the valves. I split a stem right in half and thought I was being too reckless, so I swapped out the tube, carefully put it in and it did nothing but deflate my tubes and now it won't latch on in a manner where I can pump them up. Happened on two new tubes, both of which already had air in them, I was just putting it on to get the PSI I wanted before a ride. The head needs to be replaced is my guess, which is only $5, but in the meantime I'm having to use my pocket pump to ride my bike which is a pain

Of course Amazon won't accept the return now that it's been over a month. Ordered in April, broken in June. Look elsewhere.

I've had this pump for about a year and it gets a lot of use on Presta and Schrader valve stems. It easily latches onto, and releases from, both valve types. I find that it is very easy to use--attach, pump, view the pressure gauge, and release the valve. The handle is large and comfortable, the base is solid and large enough for easy foot placement, the tube is metal and solidly built, the gauge is at the top for easy viewing, the hose is sufficiently long, and everything seems high quality. I have only two minor quibbles: you must pause briefly after a pumping stroke to get an accurate pressure reading; and the clip to store the pump head doesn't hold it securely. But those minor problems don't warrant loss of a star. If you need a floor pump for both valve types you should be looking for this pump.

easy to use - and store - and find -
nice and solid and exactly what we were looking for -
no messing around trying to figure out where it is - and no wondering if the gauge is at the pressure it is supposed to be at - easy and comfortable grip - which was probably our biggest concern - since we couldn't find it to try it out in a retail scenario -

and definitely a great price - can't see how the ones in retail stores that cost twice as much and then some could work better than this one - in fact - the bike store experts couldn't either -

Have had this for over a year now and use it for my tri-bike and mountain bikes. Love that it is a bit taller so you don't have to stoop a ton. I was once pumping up car inner tubes for sledding and my Dad was using his and I was using this one and this one performed faster and was nice cause it was taller so we didn't fatigue as fast. I also really like that the pump can fit both the skinny and fat inner tube connections. I also like that the gauge is high so I can see it better as I'm pumping. It has a great locking feature too so you can carry it by the handle and the handle doesn't pull out. I was using my sister's Specialize pump and her's doesn't have that locking mechanism so her kids were playing around with it and the pump handle just comes out....could cause some breaks probably in the future.
