Affordable solution for running eyeware,

I love these glasses and, though they seem targeted to cyclers, the nose piece keeps the glasses firmly in place and the venting at the top keeps them from fogging up. For some reason, running eyewear is more expensive than cycling eyewear (probably b/c of the weight) but these glasses are very lightweight. Bonus features are the four different shades of lenses provided (from clear to dark), the ease of changing the lenses, and the two different cases included (cloth and semi-hard case). I would definitely make this purchase again.

Lightweight+ Tricky-,

Lightweight with good face coverage, I needed glasses for my nightly commute and the included clear lenses fit the bill. But there are a couple of downsides.
Changing out the lenses can be a tussle, and requires an act of faith that you're not going to bust the frame by exerting too much pressure in seeking a notch and snapping the lense into place. I rarely change out the lenses now, and my wife won't attempt it on her pair of glasses. Second downside can be the fogging. Although there are small notches across top of lenses to let air in, in freezing weather, and wearing a balaclava, there is fogging. A speed above 10 mph has to be kept to create enough air flow. So, avoid stop lights. Otherwise, very pleased with the fit, adjustable nose piece and overall comfort.

I've owned a few pair of photochromic sunglasses and so far these are the best. The tinting is very responsive, both directions. When the sun comes out, they get quite dark and when it's dusk they lighten very nicely. The sunglasses are light weight and do a good job of keeping the wind from whipping around and behind the lenses...a problem when riding my motorcycle with other glasses I've owned. Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase and would recommend them for anyone who doesn't want to carry clear and tinted riding glasses but prefers a single pair.

You can't beat the price on these sunglasses, but the interchangeable lenses do not "pop out" and "pop in" easily. Be careful or you'll break the frame or the nose piece. (If you do, call Serfas and they'll replace it pronto. Excellent customer service.) I pretty much settled on one lens (rust) and leave it in most of the time. Good materials, light weight.

Well fitting, light pair of sunglasses. The arms do get caught up around my bike helmet however - makes them feel a little less secure than otherwise.
Biggest disappointment is the grey lense - it's not photochromic at all!!! I guess that's why the price is so low.

These seem like good sunglasses but I wish they were liter. After a few hours use, I really feel them on my nose. |
