I got this set to ride at night and it is all you need for the street. I ride in the country without street lights and the light is plenty bright.I think you would need a bit more power if you were riding trails at night. The headlight has full on and strobe. I leave it full on. The tail light has three patterns, strobe, random and full on. but I am only using the strobe because I think it is the most eye catching. My only complaint is that the headlight shines around the rim and lights up your front end and kind of blinds you . I fixed this very easily by putting a wrap of black electrical tape around the clear rim so the only light is out the front three LEDs. I still recommend this set because the quick fix was so easy. You could also fix this by painting the rim black for a more permanent fix. The mounts fit my bike seat stem and handle bars perfectly, and they have a lot of adjustment so they should work on every bike. The headlight is easily unclipped from the mount to use as a flashlight too. Anyone that is not night riding is missing a lot of adreneline, and a great workout.

Looks Good, Easy to Remove, Front headlight clamp diameter isn't adjustable,

I was on the fence about spending $25 for a bike light, but in the past I'd taken cheaper options that were far bulkier and drained batteries way too quickly, so I thought I'd pay the extra $10 this time.
I ride on a pitch black back-woods path to get home from BART (the subway of the Bay Area) and this is great. I can see great distances and all the settings are handy for when I'm on the streets. You attach the mounts to your bike an you can pop the actual lights off easily as both pieces have latches. I remove them when I park my bike at the station. The only thing is that the headlight clamp isn't adjustable so I had to shove some cardboard in. I'm not docking it down because it was an easy fix and everything else has exceeded my expectations. Also, this probably doesn't matter for most, but it looks great. By far one of the most attractive bike lights I've seen for $25.

I bought these lights because another reviewer said s/he used them on the West Side Highway bike path in NYC, which is my route between home and work. I usually put both lights on the flash setting and they seem to be easy to see. One issue I've had is that the attachment for the headlight is a bit too big for my handlebars, so I had to wedge it next to my front reflector. The light swivels, so I can still get it to point forward with no problem.

I use these lights to bike around west side highway in NYC. Great light for illuminating the bike path and also for on-coming traffic. Thinking of getting a 2nd pair for my wife

I was expecting the headlight to be a bit brighter than it is, but it's sufficient to light the way. The mounts are well done and make attaching both front and tail lights to the bike tubing a snap. The switches can be a little problematic and can't be operated with gloves on, and that's my biggest complaint. They should be easy to switch on and off without feeling around to find them in the dark. Because of the switches, I don't think I would suggest this particular model/set to others. The set isn't awful, but I took mine apart and replaced the switches with sub-miniature toggle switches --on/off for the front and on-off-on for the taillight which works either steady or blinking.

Poor Quailty,

This is a very poor quality light set. When I go into my garage after a night time ride, the front light is on very dim. The light will not shut off using the button switch. The only way I can turn the light off is to remove the batteries after my ride.

Amazon is THE place to buy stuff ! What I saw is what I got. It was a brilliant buy both in terms of performance and the exterior plastic. Thank You. I have been using these to ride in Mumbai where you have a ruthless traffic regulations. It really makes me safe and yes Indeed noticeable.
