This CD includes most of my favorite songs by Serge Reggiani, such as "L'Italien", "Il suffirait de presque rien", "Votre fille a 20 ans", "Sarah" et "Le petit garcon". And among the songs I didn't already know, I discovered new favorites: "Hotel des voyageurs", "Madame nostalgie" et "Le barbier de Belleville", which is actually funny. Indeed, the songs are either dramatic (sad/nostalgic) or comic (humoristic), and as Reggiani is not only a singer but also a comedian, his interpretations are always very real and moving. And his voice is very unique and powerful. This CD is a pretty good selection and the sound, digitally remastered, is great.
