Passes the Rottweiler test, June 30, 2010

At first I was a little disappointed to get the turtle, rather than the manatee. The dogs, on the other hand, were not disappointed at all. This is one of their favorite toys. Plush toys usually do not have a long life in our house, especially when both dogs take a liking to the toy. This one passes the Rottweiler test with flying colors. I am pleased to say that this turtle is still in surprisingly good shape after four months of daily play with two Rottweilers who are not particularly easy on their toys.
ADDED 9/10/11: I have also purchased the bison from the North American series of the Protected Wildlife toys. It, too, has passed the Rottweiler test. These toys have done very well for the Rottweilers especially considering their relatively low cost and smaller size (the toys, not the dogs).
