This review is from: Sergey Rachmaninov: String Quartet No. 1 & No. 2; Trio Elegiaque, Op. 9 (Audio CD)
For months, the audioclips for this cd were connected to some rock item and the Brodsky Quartet was incorrectly listed, instead of the Budapest String Quartet. Hopefully, that has been corrected. This a wonderful and historic recording at the Library of Congress in 1949. The Rachmaninoff works are romantic and modern, and Artur Balsam on piano, is at his best.
