Most people I know are striving to do more, accomplish more – to be a winner. It does not matter if you are talking about business, relationships or life in general, most people simply do not consistently achieve their goals. They are not Serial Winners.

Larry Weidel, author of Serial Winner, has written an informative how-to guide that anyone can follow and become a serial winner. The key to success is found in the subtitle – 5 Actions to Create your Cycle of Success. The overall theme of the book is that success is achieve by taking action.

Mr. Weidel gives plenty of tips about achieving success. He gives great insights and excellent advice that will help anyone improve their chances of success. But just knowing the tips and insights will not improve your chances of success. Only by implementing what he teaches can you expect to improve your lot in life.

There is a simple 5 step process that forms the basis for his approach to success. He calls this The Cycle of Winning.
1. Decide – unless you make a firm decision, commit to a specific goal, you will be wandering aimlessly through life. Decide.
2. Overdo – take massive action. Instead of trying to do enough to get by, do way more than you think is necessary.
3. Adjust – once you take action, you can begin to measure the results and adjust your actions based on the results you have achieved. Repeat the process.
4. Finish – there is no payoff until you finish. Ninety-eight percent finished is not finished. So many serial entrepreneurs are guilty of starting but not finishing. To be successful you must finish what you start.
5. Keep Improving – Mr. Weidel says the key to a being a Serial Winner is ABI – Always Be Improving.

Wow! Mr. Weidel hits it way out of the park with this book, which is a must have for anyone serious about success. "Serial Winner" crystallizes the process of doing BIG things. Each chapter opened my eyes to where I was coming up short, but I was most struck by Mr. Weidel's discussion of the last 2%. If you are not winning and you want to; if you are winning and you want to keep on winning, buy; read and re-read this book- and while you're at it, get one for someone you care about.

What an amazing book! Sure, you should read it cover to cover the first time through, but you could randomly open the book and start reading on any page to get a well-delivered message that pushes you to push yourself. Lots of great stories and statistics for context too if you're into that like I am. Keep this one by your bedside for whenever you need a check up from the neck up.

One of a kind book. This book has been a pocket mentor for me. Trying to be a leader and counter thinker in a mediocre world is fun and a great challenge but can also become tiresome, monotonous and LONELY. It's great to have a guide by your side anytime of day, written by a person who, you can tell, has actually DONE something! Great emphasis on teaching people to OVERDO things which is the "key" that so many "success" books never even hint at unfortunately. No groundbreaking, catchy phrases. Just teaching you how to get to work and get what you want if your willing to pay the price! MUST READ! Thanks Larry

This is an incredible read for anyone who wants to know exactly what it takes to be successful in any area of life. This book is not a bunch of theory but actually what the author did and what he taught others over his career that time and time again produced massive success. I could not recommend this more highly especially if you run a business or are in sales.

This is a book that carry the self-help label with pride. It has most of the strong points you come to expect form the genre, and also some of the flaws.

As with most books dealing with self-improvement, the core ideas could easily be laid out in a couple of pages. 10% of the book is about the methodology and core notions on how to become a serial winner, and 90% is a bunch of stories, anecdotes, phrases and examples to support it.

This one consists in five simple truisms that make a good framework for the author to expand on how to act decisively and with a strong focus, adjusting during the way, always finishing and keep aiming higher (or expanding on new goals) after the first set of goals is achieve.

You have to be in the mood for this one, as with most self-help books. You won’t find any secrets or hidden gems on how to achieve success, just a good peep talk. And sometimes, that’s all that you need when you feel compelled to read a book called Serial Winner.
