Greatest Hits from Cristian, October 22, 2002

"Serie Millennium" is a collection of 21 of Cristian's earlier hits on 2 discs before he signed with BMG US Latin in 1996. The collection gives us a look at Cristian's earlier career songs, and shows that he was just as good back then as he is now. There are a number of great songs on the 2-disc set, but the ones that stand out for me include "Señora , Por Favor", "Puerto Rico", "Nunca Voy A Olvidarte", "Por Amor A Tí", "Mañana", and "Una Y Mil Veces". One song that I'm hooked on is the South American influenced song "Odiame" which reminds me of my times spent in Peru with flutes and Andean style background music. It is a beautiful song, and coupled with Cristian's voice, is great to listen to. If you, like myself, can't really obtained Cristian's earlier works, you'd save yourself the look by getting this album, which is just as good as getting the originals. I'm glad I got this album, and it gives me a chance to look back on an artist who has such great potential and who is using that to make great albums, as he has done recently.
