Corbett writes at thinktraffic.net and he creates amazing content. Anything you ever wanted to know relating to your own website in terms of traffic and growing, it's probably there. One of his main pieces of advice is this:
WRITE EPIC S***.
In a nutshell, write amazing content that people actually want to read but will also add value to your readers. Most people write boring, generic s*** that won't keep people coming back. Create your own USP and then overdeliver on your value.
As far as the whole book, amazing. Even if you "know it all" you will still learn from reading this book. This is one resource I will keep next to me to remind me its possible, to keep going, and to freshen up once in a while. Do yourself a favor, pay the $5, it's one less cheeseburger that I'm sure you could live without.
"But they are just FREE blog posts put together and he's making us pay!!! Why would I ever pay? What am I, stupid?" If that's what your going to say about this, then don't even bother posting a review/comment. The epic amount of epic s*** on his blog is all free. He does it to HELP people. The least you could do is throw $5 his way. Besides he's testing the waters of self publishing.
He probably could have never said "blog to book" and just named it as a "new book" he put together and sell it for $20-$200 dollars. In my opinion its worth its weight in gold. Besides most people when publishing a book take stuff they already had available for free and repurpose it. He's being transparent, another reason to buy from him.
All in all, its a serious Epic Pile of S*** that is worth taking a look at :) BTW this is my first review EVER on ANYTHING. And I have been buying stuff online for quite some time now. That should be evidence in itself :)
I've been following Corbett and Caleb for 1 year now and I can assure you that they know their stuff. You'll find here only epic value, epic posts, and actionable steps to improve your blog or business and make it look like a kickass brand.
Take this book, read it, enjoy it, and then take action and you will never regret it, this is one of the best investments you can ever make, and I'm impressed that is only costing less than $5, this knowledge costs much more than that.
Corbett's unselfish advice and knowledge is perfect for everyone who is just starting out and those even more experienced.
I love the fact that some of the information I read before and much I have not on Think Traffic is organized and available for me to learn more about building a successful blog.
This is the best $4.95 I have spent.
