I heard this CD during the intermission of a Keller Williams show and had to find out what it was. Keller's wife turned me on to him and it was a great buy. Being a (sort-of...terrible) didg player, I love what he's done using samples on this CD. Funky sounds are the underlying texture of this CD with "dingo barks" and "kukaburras" (spelling?) making you laugh as you drive your car too fast. As one reviewer mentioned, all jams stay in one key, but every didgeredoo is only in one key. Trust me, it won't hinder you're gettin' down to this one. EVERYONE who's been to my house while this was playing asks who it is. It's a very unique sound and well worth the small price. Hope this helped.

I saw Dr. Didg at High Sierra and was completely blown away! This is not your typical Didgeridoo. Dr. Didg's music is the grooviest funky music I've heard in a l-o-n-g time. It's all instrumental. You are in for a BIG surprise. Don't take my word for it, check it out yourself; listen to the samples being provided.

In comparison to their first album, "Out Of The Woods", "Serotonality" brought Dr Didj out of their immature stage of musical improv. While "Out Of The Woods" was somewhat awkward and goofy because of its melodica overuse and didjeridoo domination in the foreground, "Serotonality" pulls the didj into the background to weave around a solid drumkit backing and more properly uses the melodica in a harmonica solo style. "Serotonality" also expands Graham Wiggins's "live sampling" method beyond the didj into other rhythmic sounds. However, Dr Didj still has a little growing to do, "Bouncy" was a little too chaotic from too many live sampled layers. All in all a great step in evolution for Dr Didj, who has learned to walk with a good strut but needs to tone it down a little and solidify their sound. Their third album, if they make one, will most certainly kick total butt.
