I have this model and have built many Gundam models before it. This is the easiest, strongest, most durable model ever. This is a good starter kit for any gundam fan.

Something like this has been my dream for a long time. When I heard that the Gundam Action Figure Model kits were going to be available in the US, I started trying to find them. A few days ago, I picked up this one and the 1/144 Gundam Heavyarms (not custom). It took me about an hour to build both. This one in particular is very well detailed, very sturdy and plain cool. Construction is totally snap togeather, no gluing mess! All you need is a bit of paint details (If you're a detail freak) and your good to go. The joints are stiff, and the construction even without gluing is solid and sturdy. You can definitly play with this and not worry about it. It includes 3 different sets of hands for numerous poses. Very cool. If you like building models, or if you like robots, this is DEFINITLY worth the price!

i was really excited when the serpent custom 1/144 scale arrived on my front door step and i soon found out why.as soon as i opened it i discovered the instructions were in japanese,but almost anyone can put this kit together considering im horrible at model building.i completed it in about 2 hours.this model kit doesnt need any glue and still looks good without any paint.this kit is exceptionally durable,perhaps the most durable out of all the 1/144 model kits ive seen so far.the only reason i gave it a 4 out of 5 stars in fun is because its a model kit and not meant to be played with.again,posebility is endless with this kit because he includes a beam cannon and double gatling gun.he looks great being destroyed by my nataku gundam.like i said,this is a great model so do yourself a favor and order the 1/144 scale serpent custom now.p.s.,sure the shoulders dont open to reveal missles like the 1/100 scale kit but who really cares right?

I suggest this model kit for beginners or experts beacuse of it's simple yet cool design.I used an exacto knife to cut the pieces from the plastic frame so there was little excess plastic. I suggest a 0.05 permanent marker to color in the lines to make it look better. This toy is good but i dont suggest playing with it because my little brother (also a major gundam fan) played with it and his friends and one of the legs broke really bad. It's action pose is stnading sideways and firing a big beam cannon which looks awesome!!! :) It needs no painting but i used a little to touch it up a bit to make it look cooler. All in all it was well worth the 15 dollars i paid for it.

You should buy this model 'cause if you have one of the good guy's gundam's you could make really cool poses. This model is very good. For me it was my 2nd one, my first one was Sandrock (which is very good). This toy is pretty durable, but still be careful w/ it. It's takes a decent amount of time to build and yes is worth it. And it's not that expensive either. If you put on your window sill, all your neighbours can marvel at your art. This is a great model and a very good addition to your collection.

this model is awsome! it doesnt have a skirt like the other mobile suits so the leg articulation is great, and they provide great balance. the detail doent leave much to be done. this is a great model to play with.

This was my 17 feature in my gundam wing collection.i must say i was very impressed with this model.Most people complain about there only being japaneese instuctions,out of all my models i've never had that problem.so this model should have 2 intructions.Now on with serpent...this model dose'nt have it's huge bazooka and you can't see the missles,thats the only flaw i could notice on serpent.it doese come with a double gatling gun and beam cannon.the legs are huge so that gives it AWSOME balance.unlike the other models it doesn't come with an action pose torso. The endless waltz models also have a new joint system,so the model is more durable. It pretty comes in a tan and black so paint really isn't needed.I also recommend buying the Nataku 1/100 scale.

You see, the Earth Sphere Unified Nation scrapped all of their mobile suits. However, the Barton foundation found traces of Neo-titanium in space and therefore created the Serpents. Now the reason the kits are called Serpent Customs is because the Barton foundation originally planned to equip the Serpents with small arms, but when the Mariemaia Army took over production, they substantionaly increased the Serpents' firepower. So the Serpents proper name is Serpent Custom due to changed amount of firepower. I hope that clears up any confusion about the name issue.

This is an overall good first gundam kit. it's not very detailed. It doesn't have many pieces so it's easier to build. I can't really say much about it cuz it's been so long since i built it. Get it for your first Gundam model. Contrary to the box, there is no such thing as the Serpent Custom. Only the Serpent. There can't be a custom cuz there wasn't a Serpent in the GW series! Well that raps it up. Have fun!

I had so much fun with this serpent custom that even if you didnt know what it was it would still be fun.
