Funeral Party is an alternative American (gothic)rock band with classical inspired female singer Valerie Forgione together with Ruben Layman (bass guitar), Dezzen Forgo and Scott Patalano (guitars & keyboards), Ash Wednesday (drums) and Quinn Pearl (violin & sitar).
This is really powerful music with a spiritual tone. Also influences of folk music.
Caught between rage and relief, and very intelligent lyrics about frustration and the struggle of life.
Officially released in 1993 on Silent Scream Records.
