Snakes on the brain?,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Serpent's Silver (Mass Market Paperback)
This story continues the (mis)adventures of Kelvin of Rud. As a sequel it works well by focusing on other characters for a good chunk and fleshing out the world(s) where the story takes place. There are elements of transcendence, astral travel, gigantic snakes that eat rock, freaky creatures that work magic of a totally different sort, curses, battles, and romance. Overall its a good read for a rainy afternoon when the clouds draw in thick around your world leaving the skies gray and foreboding.
