This is so comfortable!!, May 18, 2009
This review is from: Serta Elevated Memory Foam Airbed (Sports)
This is a review of the Serta Elevated Memory Foam Airbed. This bed delivers! We have slept on it for 2 nights plus had guests on it for 2 nights. It has replaced our fold out queen size sleeper and is so much more comfortable. The one thing that seemed different from what as advertised was that it looks like (in the picture on the website and on the box) it has a suede top -- when it fact it is vinyl. Because were worried about this feeling cold (in winter or our Minnesota spring!) or hot in the summer, we put a foam topper than we had used on our other bed on top of it (under the mattress pad). This also gave additional cushioning but that probably wasn't necessary. The bed is very firm if you pump it up all the way -- and of course, can be made less firm with less air. We'll see if it holds up over time but so far it is easy to set up/deflate and extremetly comfortable. So far it has been worth every penny.

It's Ok, because amazon sent me a new one!, February 24, 2010
This review is from: Serta Elevated Memory Foam Airbed (Sports)
Well, I'm on the second bed right now. I use this bed everyday, not just as a guest bed. When we first bought it after about two weeks the seam on the lower right end of the bed began to show wear. Soon after my boyfriend and I were rolling into each other in the bed because it had deflated so much. It had a leak. I tried to use the patch that came with the bed and it did not work. I wound up using a tire repair kit. The seam must have been bad because it wound up blowing about 7 holes in all. I repaired as many as I could but it wasn't getting any better so I returned the bed. Amazon was very good about the return, I was able to keep the other bed while waiting for my new one and that's one of the reasons why I labeled the bed "OK". The ohane I have now we've had for about a month and a half and it's been holding up. The lower right corner looks a little worn but hasn't sprung a leak. Oh yeah, and about the memory foam, it's not the greatest. He doesn't like it, I think it's subpar defiantely. But it is only 1 inch thick. We've been looking for a topper to put on the bed. Well that's what I think!

Serta elevated memory foam airbed, November 4, 2009
This review is from: Serta Elevated Memory Foam Airbed (Sports)
I purchased this bed as a replacement for an airbed that was not elevated and had a diamond pattern on the top, creating a slight ripple effect that was not as comfortable to sleep on for long periods of time. The memory foam on this Serta was a delight. It was smooth and not lumpy. It made sleeping much easier.
Since my relatives typically stay weeks, not days, it was important to choose an airbed that would be comfortable. The only complaint they had was that they did have to add a bit of air to the airbed every other night or so, but we think this is because the airbed is new. The instructions mention this possibility as well and that there is some stretch that may occur initially. However, not much air was added.
