After reading reviews and doing research we decided this mattress seemed like a good choice. We first noticed how heavy this mattress was but that certainly was not a deal breaker. After 6 1/2 months of our son sleeping on this mattress we are shopping for a new one. The middle has sunk down and my son isn't even standing yet. I can't imagine how this mattress would hold up to a toddler standing on it. It definitely isn't "Super Firm".

We needed to buy a second crib mattress for our baby who will be 18 months apart from her older sibling. We loved our first same-brand crib mattress but unfortunately found that it was no longer available. The previous firm mattress was purchased for $79.99 in the spring of 2009. Then we purchased this "super firm" mattress" in the fall of 2010. I was incredibly disappointed by how less firm this more expensive, "super firm" mattress was than the original less expensive, same brand mattress was. We actually switched out mattresses and gave this one to our toddler (18 month old) and the OLDER, more FIRM mattress to our newborn.

Would I purchase this mattress again? I'm not sure. In fact, I highly suggest you physically go to a store to check the firmness. Unfortunately, we live outside of the U.S. so this wasn't an option for us.

No huge complaints about this, except that it is not what I would call super firm. The mattress sinks more than i would expect under the weight of a 12 pound baby. If you're on the fence and want a very solid, firm mattress; you may want to splurge on another choice!

Very firm, heavy mattress with a solid feel. It gives just enough when you press on it. Coil count, not mentioned online, is 118. Review the guidlelines for mattresses at Expectant Mother's Guide.com. Fits the bill fabulously with great support, border rods, and multiple laminated covers. Purchased with a toddler bed for a toddler who sleeps comfortably on her parents' super firm Seally Posturpedic.

This is a really nice crib mattress at a great price. We have been looking for a very firm crib mattress and glad we went with this one. I purchased it for my 3 month old baby who has been in the NICU. This one is very, very, firm and he doesn't sink down at all which I love. The only problem I have is that it came in a torn plastic bag for packaging and mattress was covered in pollen and dirt. I sent it back and Amazon sent me a new one with overnight shipping with a thick plastic around it and a box. I am very pleased with how they handled the problem and I would suggest that everyone call and place the order and ask for additional packaging.

to other reviews. This mattress is too soft. There is a thick padding which negates the meaning of "extra firm". Returned it. I would not recommend this product!

The mattress looks sturdy and reliable. I've looked at multiple mattresses from baby r us and Target. This one looks to me like a quality mattress. The only thing is, the workmanship in sewing is not that great.

The mattress fits perfectly in our Europa Baby Geneva crib. Nice and snug. The little one is not here yet so I can't speak as to how it will hold up but I'm happy with the fit and firmness.

The mattress is easily cleaned. It arrived with a tear in the packaging and some black scuff that came right off with a wet cloth. It fit the standard sheets and covers. We also measured our crib first and the mattress fit nice and snug. I like the print on it as well.

I was looking for a safe and firm mattress for around $100 for our first daughter, due July 4th. This fit the bill. The added reinforced border AND corners are a bonus, so when she starts standing in her crib she won't sink in the edges or the corners. The circulation vents are a nice touch, as is the laminated covering making it easy to clean. Fits nice and tightly in our crib also. High quality. Can't wait until she arrives to try it out!
