Product Description

The Serta Raised Air Bed with Never Flat™ technology makes getting into and out of bed easier and just might be the most comfortable air bed you've ever slept on. Able to maintain it's pressure throughout the night, Never Flat™ elimates sagging and loss of air pressure that is so common in airbeds. Never Flat™ technology is an auto-engaging, whisper quiet pump that maintains constant air pressure throughout the night for an undisturbed, continuous night's rest that is never flat. Choose your desired comfort level--Plush, Medium, or Firm--and let the powerful Primary Pump inflate the bed. Once inflated, the Secondary Pump continusly monitors and senses when it needs to silently engage in order to maintain the chosen comfort level throughout the night. *The powerful, integrated primary pump enables effortless inflation and deflation of the air bed. *The automatic shut-off feature turns the Primary Pump once the bed is fully inflated or deflated, allowing you to turn on the pump and walk away without worrying about the pump getted burned out. *Clear dial settings for plush, medium, and firm allow for preferred personal mattress comfort levels. *Pressure sensing technology constantly monitors and adjusts to match the chosen mattress comfort level. *Pump silently, as neccessary, engages throughout the night creating a consistently comfortable feel. *21 circular coils on the Twin Bed and 35 circular coils on the Queen Bed create a comfortable sleeping surface while vertical and horizontal reinforcements allow bed to maintain shape. *Flocked top keeps bedding in place. *Carry bag included. Guaranteed to stay inflated all night!
NOTE: Please ensure that the NeverFlat pump is turned on while in use in order to keep the bed feeling fully inflated. The bed is made from PVC which will stretch as it gets warm with use. As the PVC stretches, the bed will increase in volume and with the NeverFlat pumped turned on, the pump will keep the pressure at a constant level and eliminate the feeling of it deflating.

My sister bought this bed here on Amazon to have for when I come visit her. We set it up yesterday (easy-peasy), and I slept on it last night. I have very bad back problems and usually wake up in the mornings in pain (and also wake up with stabbing pain every time I turn over at night) even though I've got a very expensive regular queen-sized mattress on my bed at home. I didn't wake up once in the night on this mattress, and when I did wake up my back wasn't killing me! I was so impressed, I couldn't stop raving to my sister about it. (She's 70; I'm 60. We both have fibromyalgia and suffer from a lot of pain.)

The pump worked perfectly. The whole thing was up in a snap. The bed inflates to about a standard-bed height, which is good for people who have trouble getting up and down from a mattress on the floor. Assuming the pump and the air bed hold up per the usual Serta quality, I would switch to one of these beds in a heartbeat. I don't know how it would do in a bed frame; I would use mine flat on the floor.

A queen-sized fitted sheet is just the right size to wrap around the twin bed and tuck under the bottom edges. That's good, because I have a queen bed at home and plenty of sheets for it. I'm thinking now that I might just get rid of my bed and get one of these. The difference in how I felt waking up would be worth it. I don't really need a queen-sized bed anyway (even though queens are available in this bed) because I just keep most of it piled up with books and papers!

This little bed could be a life-changer for me. I just had to come post my enthusiasm about it.

Going to stay with my children who have no guest bedroom, i needed to purchase an airmattress. previous purchases had been a huge waste of money. When I saw the name Serta I felt this airmattress would hold up better than previous purchases. Inflated quickly. Warning - the noise the motor makes on this initial inflation is NOT what you will hear as it inflates from time to time to maintain the firmness you choose. Once Inflated, you will never hear the motor unless you are paying very close attention. It sounds like the quietest of refrigerator humming and is of mere seconds duration. No negatives on this purchase. I am delighted I chose it! Definitely the quality you'd expect from Serta. And so very comfortable!!! I normally sleep on a Tempurpedic because of my back and I have had no problems with sleeping soundly, in comfort. Also, the height is great! I am older and this is a perfect height to arise with ease. I slept on this bed for a full month so feel I can truly give it a good review.

I do not know what beds they use for sleeping on Mars, but here on Earth this air bed is out of this world. I have been sleeping on air beds for over five years now. All of them leak! But, I love the support of an air mattress.

1. This is the first air mattress I have ever owned, and I have owned five or six now that does not leak. Awesome!
2. The never flat pump is the perfect design, some people complain about the noise but that is like complaining about the house settling or hum from your TV. The Central Heating and Air system makes ten times the noise that the little pump makes. Plus if you put it at the foot of the bed I can't hear it at all.
3. The Never flat pump ran the first day while the bed was stretching and I have never heard it run since.
4. Tip: When you buy the bed set it up and leave it inflated for couple of days so it stretches out. After that once it is filled up the pump will shut off quickly.
5. what is really cool is that all you do to set it up is turn the pump to the firmness setting you want and walk away it will turn off the large inflator pump automatically.

The Bad: All air mattresses will suck the heat right out you at night, so you need a memory foam topper to stay warm or at least a few blankets under you. The raised twin is a little wobbly as it is a bit tall for its width, it took me two nights to get used to that - However it is still the best bed ever. Without a memory foam topper it is a bit bumpy and is cold at night.

The Good: My roommate bought a $2500 bed as he was in a bad car crash and needs a good bed. After trying out the Serta he returned it and love the Serta Never Flat. But he reports the he can hear the pump run for a little bit in the morning after he gets off of it. But he weighs over 200 lbs so I'm sure it releases a bit a air when he lays on it. (I know I would).

Buy this bed its great.

I can't believe this bed is an "air mattress"!
The "Never Flat Pump" system is incredible.

If you are looking for an air mattress/inflatable bed Look for the brand or words "Never Flat Pump".
You will not be disappointed.

I bought 4 of these (Never Flat Pump) air mattresses for a trip I took with the family for a long weekend to PA. Our host didn't have enough bed rooms so we decided to use inflatables. I had used standard air mattresses in the past from the very well know to the lesser well know brands. They all had one thing in common, they leak air. You start off with a full mattress and wind up on the floor.
The "Never Flat Pump System" eliminates that.

Our area of VA suffered a power outage recently. We were fortunate, our electricity didn't get knocked out. We had several neighbors as "house guests" for a couple of days due to the heat. All of them had good nights sleep due to the "Never Flat Pump System".

The Serta variant that this listing is under also has a fairly comfortable "Pillow Top". Granted it is difficult to get on, however it does make this bed just a little bit more comfortable then the other 3 I purchased with out the Pillow Top.

These could be full time beds.

With the thought that "These could be full time beds" I decided to use this in a little used guest room. I discovered that if plugged in all the time, the little pump loses it's effectiveness!!
This is a great bed for short term use, DO NOT KEEP THESE PLUGGED IN WHEN NOT USING THEM!!!
I would have presumed that the little pump would not run all the time, well it did. This means that I also had a leak in the bed that the little pump could not keep up with.
I went through two of these beds a little after their warranty expired.
