This is is a required text book for my sanitation and safety course. The book itself is not bad, but the material provided to the instructor is inaccurate. If you take this course challenge every wrong answer because the intructor is provided with a question and answer bank that on quite a few occasions have been contradictory to what is written in the text book.

A very simple yet informative book with pictures and graphs on every page to help illustrate the whole concept! It's written in a simple language and format that makes it easy to follow and understand. Love it!

This book has been so useful to me in my college class and with the answer sheet, i was able to take the servsafe examination earlier this month and am currently waiting for my scores to arrive. This book has so much detail and breaks everything down for you so easily that you will stay interested in the book. I have learned so much about cooking, sanitation and other parts of a restaurant business and it has me fascinated with how much really goes into a restaurant business.

This book is great. The fact that it is updated with the 2009 FDA Food Code helped prepare me for the ServeSafe exam.
