Great book
this is a great book for any family who has a person that is fixing to be deployed it has everything from family care plan to selecting a bank to back home i would recommend that all servicemen and their family members read it

Okay, could use more detail on life at the various duty sites
Most of the information contained in this book can be obtained via military sponsored info sites. I was looking for more in depth information on life at the various Iraq bases, but this book only contained brief mention of them.

Outstanding book written by an Iraq war veteran. It provides tremendous insight into what to expect if you or someone you know is deployed. A must read for any Service Member!
