I use this to time my wife's tea and my coffee, which need different soak times. This is for someone who does not want a digital timer or to use batteries. Sometimes I find myself wondering if the colors are really 3, 4, and 5 minutes, respectively, but every time that I check this with a more advanced timer, I find that it is good to within a second or so ... which is far better than my own accuracy with manual dexterity (opening the pots, removing the leaves, pushing the press, etc...)

I guess it's tough with these little timers - none of them seem to be very accurate, but this one is consistent within a few seconds, and I took the average and wrote it on the timer itself with a marker. I like the layout - it's compact and stable, and you can see all 3 timers at once if you angle it correctly.

This tea timer is great, 3/4/5 minute intervals to ensure you get the best possible cup of tea you need.

It makes me take the time to let the tea infuse rather than rush, and that is a good thing.

Great product.
