Format: Paperback
I was very happy to find this book while searching for books on the World War Two nisei (American Japanese) soldiers. Very little is mentioned about the nisei women who also volunteered to serve in the military despite the internment of over 100,000 American citizens of this descent in disregard of their civil rights. The book also tells the story of discrimination against women in general when describing reactions of the male bosses of the clerical workers. Thank you Professor Moore for your research and documenting this story. Did you send it to Go For Broke in LA?
