When people visit a church it is normally because they have a need of some kind. A well timed visit from someone the congregation can really help them overcome their issue. This book gives a great explanation of why, how, when and what to say/do during a visit. I especially appreciate the section on what scriptures to use because that can be a hard thing to know without some training.

I really liked this book for training or for general information in the area of church visitation. The material made educational training easy to do. The book had practical ideas and was well organized. Well worth the price.

I reviewed several books before choosing this one. It was a easy read and instructive. I have just started visitation with a couple of ladies at the church. I observed the ladies and learned from the way they interacted with the people we visited. I thought they did such a good job. So I looked for a class on line on visitation and could not find one. So I started reviewing books. This one topped the list. I plan on using it as my guide as I continue in this ministery.
