Best potty seat out there!, September 2, 2005
This review is from: Sesame Sidekick Potty (Baby Product)
We have 2 types of potty seats for my son. One where they can sit but you have to pour everything out and this one. By far he loves this one! With a step stool it's perfect. The padding is much more comfortable for him and it makes him feel like he's really using a "big boy potty." Plus he gets used to reaching for the toilet paper and flushing a real toilet. As for the splash guard... it's the only one that's stayed on. He's learned how to take the guard off the other toilet and then we have urine all over the ground.
He's much prouder of himself with this seat as opposed to the other potty chair. I would love to have one in each bathroom. It's also a snap for adults to take out of the toilet themselves when they have to go. I highly HIGHLY reccommend this potty seat.

doesn't work for boys..., July 23, 2005
This review is from: Sesame Sidekick Potty (Baby Product)
the seat is made for girls obviously, as there is a large gap for the pee shield to slide into the front of the seat, but it's so large, when a boy pees, it gets stuck in the gap and you have to wash the seat out every time, defeating the purpose of them learning to do it on their own. and after only a month of use, the vinyl is starting to crack on the edge, making my son nervous to sit on that part. also, after having to rinse it off on a regular basis, it looks as if the cartoon print is wearing off. overall, quite disappointing.

Love it!, March 26, 2006

My son really loves this potty seat. Now, whenever he has to go he looks at me and says Elmo Potty. What attracted me to this seat (besides the Elmo thing) was the attachment in the front so the pee would be directed down into the toilet. But, honestly, it was just in the way and when my son would climb up onto the potty he was having a hard time beause of it so I took it off. Now he can easily get up onto the potty, with the help of his step stool, all by himself.
