This toy is exceptional, both for girls and boys. My 3 year old loves baby ernie. It is not only teaching my young child responsibility, but it is also durable and educational. This is my child's favorite toy to play with and sleep with.

I have both Baby Zoe and Baby Ernie and my 1 1/2 year old loves them. Their voices are so cute and they say lots of cute phrases.
When you put their binkie in thier mouths, or anything that activates the inside of the mouth, they make sucking sounds, my daughter likes to give them her bottle. They are also very durable. They have stepped on it and thrown around and still work perfectly. I also like that they take AA batteries instead of watch batteries, it made it easy to change.

My 17 month old daughter has fallen in love with Ernie after watching Sesame Street so I looked for Ernie everywhere and only could find this BABY ERNIE and a couple cute Ernie books. I went ahead and got it and she loves it! It is a bit annoying although much nicer to hear than the crazy dancing Elmos ( which we do have but I have to turn off or hide to keep my sanity sometimes ). This baby ernie is cute and she loves it so whatever makes her happy makes me happy! :)

I must say, when my daughter rec'd this for her 1st birthday- I thought he was pretty annoying (wailing cry and deep little voice for a toy). Eight months later-he has totally grown on me, mostly because I get a kick out of how much she enjoys him. She's totally entertained by Baby Ernie and wants to take him everywhere. He's educational as he has a good amount of sayings that she'll repeat. She feeds him, cuddles him, and puts him to sleep. She loves her Baby Ernie and for that reason I guess I dig him too. :-)

This is another one of those TO CUTE toys. I bought this for my grandson Liam when he was only 2 months old. Of course he was to young to play with it but now at 8 months he's showing some interest. He loves to put the bottle in baby Ernie's mouth and take it out. This is a good sized toy and baby Ernie says some of the cutest things and makes sucking noises when he drinks. His voice is very clear and I have to say when this toy was opened everyone thought it was adorable--and it is. Excellent toy for teaching a child about nurturing.Its a great toy for both boys and girls. I'm very happy that I decided to purchase this toy.
