5.0 out of 5 stars We love Elmo
Our 9 month old daughter got Elmo for Christmas. We play with it together. She loves for "Mommy" to give Elmo his bottle. She sometimes tries to take his bottle, but luckily for Elmo it's attached to his hand. Sometimes if she is crying, Elmo's crying will distract her from whatever she's not-so-happy about.

Our baby Elmo has on a onesie that is sewn on. He also has...

3.0 out of 5 stars Didn't work
I thought this was a cute toy but one of the features wasn't working. It was supposed to make "slurping" noises when you "feed" it. This didn't work when it arrived so I had to return it. I'll try to buy it in a store so I can make sure it works before I purchase it.

He also has a small blanket attached to his hand and an ID bracelet. He cries, talks, and moves his legs when you push his stomach or squeeze his hand. When you put his bottle in his mouth he makes the slurping noises and sometimes burps. We haven't had to change his batteries yet.

The only minor things I don't like are that his clothes are "attached" and the attached blanket is really too small to be of any use for Elmo (maybe it's a diaper/burp cloth?).

I bought this for my daughter Melissa's first b-day. She LOVES it! She loves Elmo period but this toy is a lifesaver! It keeps her occupied in the car, in her playpen when I have stuff to do... I was almost tempted to buy another one, just as a backup if she broke this one but he has held up fine. She throw Elmo around the room then kisses him when he asks! ( one of the phrases is "kiss baby Elmo") I would recommend this toy to anyone whose child likes Elmo plus I find it rather cute so it is not a constant annoyance like some other toys that talk.

I took my daughter to the toy store when she was about a year old, and she picked out Baby Elmo. Boy am I glad she did! It is such a great toy that keeps her attention! She carries Elmo around the house all day! She loves to kiss him when he cries and give him his 'ba ba'. A great toy, well worth the money!

This is the cutest little thing - Baby Elmo talks up a storm, kicks his little legs, drinks his bottle, burps and puts a smile on anyone's face, including my linebacker-sized husband's.
Very large vocabulary, written by someone with a sense of humor that appeals to adults as well as kids. Elmo is soft and sweet and totally adorable - pick him up and you'll have trouble putting him down. Got kids? Get them their OWN Baby Elmo - you'll want one all to yourself!

We bought this for our 8 month old baby (even though it is marked as 18 months and up). He absolutely adores it! He will lie down next to it or put his head on Baby Elmo's tummy. He loves to hug him. It was a very rewarding purchase!

We purchased Baby Elmo as a new toy for an airplane trip we took a month ago, and my 22 month-old little boy (who is 110% BOY) absolutely LOVES him!!!! It's sweet seeing him giving hugs and kisses to his baby Elmo, and try to feed him his bottle. It kept him busy for the entire trip, plus while we were on vacation!

Just because this is a little baby to take care of, don't hesitate to give this to a boy--- my little slugger just adores him!

We bought baby Elmo for our 8.5 month year old. He is so funny and cute. Our baby always lights up when we show Elmo to him. I think Mom and Dad have had more fun playing with him so far. But I think our son will enjoy him for awhile- although now he likes to put Elmo's bottle in his mouth. Cute toy- even popular at our adult parties.

This is the cutest little thing - has a very large vocabulary, written by someone with a sense of humor that appeals to adults as well as kids. Elmo is soft and sweet and the next best thing to a real infant - I'm totally in love with him and I'm old enough to be his grandma :-) He speaks when fed, when his hand is squeezed and when his middle is squeezed. He kicks his little legs, drinks his bottle, burps, cries - what can I say? It's love LOL

This is so cute. It put a smile on my 16 month old daughter's face immediately. She loves to shove the bottle in his mouth and here what he has to say and when he burps she just starts giggling. So do I
