Fun, but not very easily mobile,
By
This review is from: Sesame Street Elmo Activity Walker (Baby Product)
My mom bought this for my daughter and at first she really loved it. The toys on it are great and because you can remove them, they are easy to keep clean!! The seat is soft and comfortable and the tray is a great size for putting extra toys or little snacks. So the problem becomes that it is quite large and the wheels are not. She loved it at first because she didn't realize it was supposed to move. I got her one that she can walk in much more easily and when she went back to grandma's and was put in this one, she got incredibly frustrated. The wheels are very tiny and make it hard to get started-once she got going, it wasn't very maneuverable and definitely could NOT move at all on carpet. Overall, it works OK, but would be nice if it had bigger wheels that allowed for more ease of movement. For grandma's house it's fine, but for everyday use, it wouldn't be a favorite toy of a baby trying to be mobile on their own!!

Great, Collapsible Walker,
By Joanne (NY United States) - See all my reviews

NOTE: Amazon has the wrong description o nthis item. See the manufacturer description at the top. There are no battery operated toys.
A simple but great walker. Includes two action toys that are removable for EZ cleanup, a nicely padded seat with removeable cover, wheels have friction pads to limit mobility on carpeting [see experience below]. The base is wider than the top so it provides good balance to avoid flipping over, and it features 3 height adjustments that are EZ to change. Finally, it folds very flat for storage and EZ transport [see image in Amazon's detail]. My g'daughter took to it fast. Within 1 day she got the hang of it. SETUP: and take down is a breeze [lift the tray and fold the front center support down in to the base]. TRAY: We wanted a walker that could double as an eating area so this walker is perfect. The toys are removable and the tray has an edge to catch spills. Perfect for snacks and feeding. This G'ma uses this in place of a highchair. ATTACHED TOYS: Attached toys are minimal: one teething toy [tall; good for little ones], and one spinner. She likes them; maybe I wanted more, LOL. I ADDED SOME LINKS: I bought a bag of Bright Stars Links at Target to string together and hang her favorite toys everywhere. She loves this touch and I do too because I don't spend the day picking up! http://www.amazon.com/Bright-Starts-Lots-of-Links/dp/B001ABZGU2/ref=pd_sim_ba_1 SAFETY: There is a bit of friction on the wheels to slow the child down. 7 month old Experience: On LR carpeting, she cannot "walk" too much [I can turn my head, LOL]. I preferred the safety of this limited motion, but if you have carpeting only and want real mobility, this walker is not for you. On kitchen linoleum, she can go pretty fast so be on the ball. If you want to limit your child's mobility [wood / tile floors], you can place it on an area rug that's larger than the walker. A rug doesn't mean don't pay attention, but it will give you a little peace of mind when you are busy. Watch hanging objects when using a walker; for sure your child will reach for everything. Whatever your situation, be very vigilant with any walker if stairs or doors are involved. If a walker makes you nervous or you are too busy to keep a constant eye, do not use any of them. I would definitely recommend this walker.

Walker is Great!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Sesame Street Elmo Activity Walker (Baby Product)
This walker is really simple, but it does everything that it needs to do. I like that there are no sharp edges and that the base is wider than the seat so that he can't pinch his fingers on things. My son really likes to chew on toy Cookie Monster part of the walker. I would definitely buy this walker again.
