Fun, but not very easily mobile,
By
This review is from: Sesame Street Elmo Activity Walker (Baby Product)
My mom bought this for my daughter and at first she really loved it. The toys on it are great and because you can remove them, they are easy to keep clean!! The seat is soft and comfortable and the tray is a great size for putting extra toys or little snacks. So the problem becomes that it is quite large and the wheels are not. She loved it at first because she didn't realize it was supposed to move. I got her one that she can walk in much more easily and when she went back to grandma's and was put in this one, she got incredibly frustrated. The wheels are very tiny and make it hard to get started-once she got going, it wasn't very maneuverable and definitely could NOT move at all on carpet. Overall, it works OK, but would be nice if it had bigger wheels that allowed for more ease of movement. For grandma's house it's fine, but for everyday use, it wouldn't be a favorite toy of a baby trying to be mobile on their own!!

Great, Collapsible Walker,

NOTE: Amazon has the wrong description o nthis item. See the manufacturer description at the top. There are no battery operated toys.
A simple but great walker. Includes two action toys that are removable for EZ cleanup, a nicely padded seat with removeable cover, wheels have friction pads to limit mobility on carpeting [see experience below]. The base is wider than the top so it provides good balance to avoid flipping over, and it features 3 height adjustments that are EZ to change. Finally, it folds very flat for storage and EZ transport [see image in Amazon's detail]. My g'daughter took to it fast. Within 1 day she got the hang of it. SETUP: and take down is a breeze [lift the tray and fold the front center support down in to the base]. TRAY: We wanted a walker that could double as an eating area so this walker is perfect. The toys are removable and the tray has an edge to catch spills. Perfect for snacks and feeding. This G'ma uses this in place of a highchair. ATTACHED TOYS: Attached toys are minimal: one teething toy [tall; good for little ones], and one spinner. She likes them; maybe I wanted more, LOL. I ADDED SOME LINKS: I bought a bag of Bright Stars Links at Target to string together and hang her favorite toys everywhere. She loves this touch and I do too because I don't spend the day picking up! http://www.amazon.com/Bright-Starts-Lots-of-Links/dp/B001ABZGU2/ref=pd_sim_ba_1 SAFETY: There is a bit of friction on the wheels to slow the child down. 7 month old Experience: On LR carpeting, she cannot "walk" too much [I can turn my head, LOL]. I preferred the safety of this limited motion, but if you have carpeting only and want real mobility, this walker is not for you. On kitchen linoleum, she can go pretty fast so be on the ball. If you want to limit your child's mobility [wood / tile floors], you can place it on an area rug that's larger than the walker. A rug doesn't mean don't pay attention, but it will give you a little peace of mind when you are busy. Watch hanging objects when using a walker; for sure your child will reach for everything. Whatever your situation, be very vigilant with any walker if stairs or doors are involved. If a walker makes you nervous or you are too busy to keep a constant eye, do not use any of them. I would definitely recommend this walker.

Walker is Great!,
A Kid's Review

This walker is really simple, but it does everything that it needs to do. I like that there are no sharp edges and that the base is wider than the seat so that he can't pinch his fingers on things. My son really likes to chew on toy Cookie Monster part of the walker. I would definitely buy this walker again.

My son just turned 5 months and both feet finally reach the ground. He can also now reach the toys as well. Moves easily on a smooth surface such as hardwood floors. Not great or at all on carpets! Maybe when he gets a little older and can walk around. But for now it's a great walker for my needs. He can sit in his walker while I cook and if he gets to close to the stove I can can just move him back being that he doesn't travel very far or fast at this young age.

We bought this for our grandaughter and she really seems to love spending time in it. We thought the two play toys on the tray would become obstructions but they were actually cleverly designed and she has not lost interest in playing with them. The tray allows for additional toys and objects that she finds entertaining to play with. Very happy with this purchase. There are safety features that limit the chances for spills but we would only suggest using the walker in environments with flat solid surfaces.

Not good on carpet,

My son loves the two play activities on the top of the walker but it does not work good on carpet! It won't go anywhere when he tries to walk. It works okay on tiles but if I had a second chance to choose a walker it definately wouldn't be this one.

Love this walker! It's simple, it's easy to clean, easy to maneuver. My 10 month old granddaughter has no problem swinging it around to move in a different direction or backing up. And I'm not sure why but just the two toys attached on either side she just loves to pull and chew.
This walker allows a small child to do what it's supposed to do: Walk!
