Editorial Reviews

Are you up for a challenge? An Alphabet Challenge? In this all new never before seen DVD, join Sesame Street friends Elmo, Abby and Telly on an amazing learning adventure! Abby is excited to show her friends her new Fairy Fly Pad, a magical tablet loaded with cool games. But with a simple tap they accidentally get trapped inside the video game world of A. B. C-more, a mischievous elf obsessed with the alphabet. In order to get back to Sesame Street, the friends must defeat A. B. C-more in different video game challenges that test their knowledge of the entire alphabet. Kids will love to play along and learn in a series of fun video game spoofs that will teach both letter recognition and sounds in a fun and entertaining way. Employing many familiar conventions of video games in a cool animated world, you have never seen Elmo, Abby and Telly like this before! Can Elmo munch his way through a maze like game where he must find objects that start with certain sounds? What happens when the friends encounter some letters from angry words? Can Elmo dance his way through a game where his moves need to match movements that start with certain letters? Will Abby be a hero as she rocks out with a guitar in another game? With 7 challenging games to play the friends will discover it is not as easy as ABC to win against A. B. C-more!

5.0 out of 5 stars Really cute! September 12, 2012
By Madsmom
My daughter is 5 and loves this video!! She is crazy about the iPad and in this video Abby gets a new "fly pad". It has segments mimicking angry birds, guitar hero, dance revolution, Mario carts and World of Warcraft. They are angry "words", realm of elf craft, super mustachio brothers. It is hilarious. She watches it twice a day. Does a superb job of using correct phonic pronunciations for the letters in a fun way. My daughter is non verbal autistic, and she says her letters out loud now and looks back to hear you tell her that she is doing a good job. Would highly recommend for anyone with a child with language delays.

Our son is a huge Sesame Street fan but we have bought a few DVD's that he wasn't fond of. This one was an excellent purchase. He goes back to it and watches it all the time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it! February 22, 2014

I love how Sesame Street adapts for the children of this generation which is, quite frankly, a technological one. Their version of new and classic games are amusing and fun. It's a video the parents can enjoy as well. Well done, Sesame Street!

5.0 out of 5 stars My 2 year old loves it! November 7, 2013
By Shannon
This DVD is entertaining for both my child and myself. We must watch it at least once per day. The story line is just as the other reviews have mentioned, but the animation is what seems to keep my son's attention. He dances and says the alphabet along with the characters...well worth it in my opinion. A must have for any Elmo fan.
