Sesame Street Grover/Super Grover Building Set

We couldn't wait for these Kid K'nex to come out and were so excited to get Super Grover. The only problem is that it doesn't stay together... at all! It's cute and my son still plays with it, but it's very frustrating and he gets upset because it keeps falling apart. I had planned to get some of the other characters in this line, but now I probably won't.

My almost 3-yr-old son loves getting this toy out and building with it, but the pieces don't stay together very well. My son gets very frustrated when he puts it together and then it just falls apart. I was expecting it to stay together like a Lego would, but it doesn't. Would not buy this again.

I had this item for months and was so excited to give it my son for his birthday because he loves Grover and the other Sesame characters. What a disappointment, though, to open it and find that it does not stay together at all. I completely understand that the item is meant to be taken apart and rebuilt, but once built it should stay together enough for a young child to play with it. I'm going to be taking this item back.

Arrived quickly in excellent shape. My daughter loves the character. My only complaint is that once he is built he falls apart easily.

My two year old twins love building Super Grover but my daughter cries every time he falls apart and we need to build him again. I've found this to be true with the Elmo building set as well. Maybe as they get older and can rebuild Elmo and Super Grover by themselves it will be more fun.

This looked like a cute toy for my son. He likes Grover and playing with building blocks, however it fell apart as soon as we got it. Someone knocked it over within the first couple minutes of putting it together and now he has lost his head somewhere in the house! Don't waste your money on this toy. I am are getting rid of ours.

My son (2 years old) begged for this toy. He's a big Sesame Street fan and it looked pretty fun on the package. When we got it home, we discovered the parts DO NOT stay together. At all. We put on the legs, the head came off. We put on the body, the legs fell off. My son tried and tried to build his Grover, and it finally ended in tears of frustration.
Please do not waste your money on this toy, or any of the other Sesame St. building sets. I had bought Elmo and Oscar at the same time, and of course they all have the same connection problem.

I purchased this toy for my daughter at 18months, because she adores anything Grover. While she was too little to put the pieces together herself, she is always pulling the box out of the toy shelf and wanting to play with mommy. We assembly Super Grover and then make him pretend fly.

The only problem I have with the set is that the two halves of his head don't stay together very well, for some reason this connection is weaker than the others - and so his head is always falling off.

My son loves to put the pieces together and make different things. Great toy for little imagiantions, lots of fun possible ideas for new creations.
