My 2 year old son wanted his own backpack to be like his sister who goes to school now. He adores Elmo and was tickled pink when he got this. Its easy to open and close for him and he packs it with all kinds of stuff in which it has proven to be very durable. He love his Elmo pack pack!

Bought this backpack for my son when he was 18mths, and he's now 3. The backpack has made it through washes, fieldtrips, and outings. Though now the colors are fading, there are no holes, tearing, zipper issues, etc. GREAT BAG! Now using for 14 mth old.
