Excellent for fun and learning,

I bought these for my son when he was 18 months old. He's a huge fan of Sesame Street and loves to point out and name things as we see them throughout the day. They are a great learning tool and are useful for more than just learning numbers... the items on the backs of the cards (apples, balls, bats, ladybugs, etc.) also help teach them new words.My son first started playing with them by sorting them by characters and just looking at and learning the new words. Now, at 21 months he's starting to get the concept of the numbers more than just memorizing his 1-10's. He loves to play with them and take a few to bed or to the breakfast table. I also pack them when we head out to a restaurant. Also, I believe there are about 40 cards in the deck so if they lose a few along the way, it's not like the rest of the deck is a bust. You can't beat the price for such a great toy.
