5.0 out of 5 stars Great Fun for Everyone
This is an adorable tool bench. It is so much better than the wooden tool bench I played with as a child. Elmo sings a song at the push of a button. The saw (Bert and Ernie) and the drill (cookie monster), cracks jokes. When the nails or the bolts are driven/screwed into the bench it makes appropriate noises. Adults seem to be enamored with this toy as well. My...

1.0 out of 5 stars PRICE?!?
Why is this $119.00 when every other vendor sells it for $50 or less?

The saw (Bert and Ernie) and the drill (cookie monster), cracks jokes. When the nails or the bolts are driven/screwed into the bench it makes appropriate noises. Adults seem to be enamored with this toy as well. My father-in-law couldn't stop playing with it; long after my son went to bed. There is a tool belt that you can purchase separately, however I would not suggest buying it. It is cute and there is a space for it on the tool bench, however it also comes with a hammer and screwdriver. It seems unnecessary to have two of each. Elmo's song does seem to be a bit loud, but you can push the same button to end the song. Overall, I think this was a great purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Pleased, December 1, 2006

This review is from: Sesame Street Sing n' Giggle Tool Bench (Toy)
We bought this for our son for his 3rd birthday, and I couldn't believe how much fun he had with it! He giggled and danced when elmo sang, and even took a lap around the living room, trying to get others to sing along! I didn't think this toy was loud, like the other review said, but, as with any toy, the song will get old after the 50th time! But, I am very pleased, and the $50 we shelled out for it was well worth it!

2.0 out of 5 stars False Advertising, December 24, 2006
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Sesame Street Sing n' Giggle Tool Bench (Toy)
Parents, do not make the same mistake we did. The picture of this tool bench that Amazon provides fails to mention anywhere that the Elmo drill below the table IS NOT INCLUDED in the product. This drill was a large part of why we bought the dang thing to begin with, as our toddler is obsessed with his dad's drill. However, in miniscule writing on the actual box (not the Amazon photoshopped picture, mind you), it tells you (after you've forked out money online for it) that the drill is not included.
Thanks for telling us, Amazon. Merry Christmas to you, too.

2.0 out of 5 stars LOUD, September 11, 2006
This review is from: Sesame Street Sing n' Giggle Tool Bench (Toy)
Our son enjoys playing with this alot. It would be nice if more of the items were removable like the drill. This toy is so LOUD. I wish I would have known ahead of time that it didn't have a volume control. All in all, it's a toddler pleaser.

My son was 17 months when he got this and loved to play with it! I got him all the extras to it, the drill, and tool belt I think are a must have.....He plays with them all and its great to have the additional tools so you can play along with them. He is now 19 months and still going strong with it. I would give it 5 stars if it had more songs to it and more attachments to keep it around as he continues to grow.

This toy is awesome! Our little boy loves it
and plays with it for long periods of time,
which works for me. The only negative is that
it is very loud and has no volume control.
Otherwise, great investment. We purchased it
on sale along with the tool belt and drill.

We bought the tool bench for our 21 month old grandson. He loves it and it is sturdy because he pounds on it with the hammer. He spends a lot of time playing with this. I would reccommend this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Needs volume control, December 19, 2006

I bought this for my 1 and 3 year olds. They love it and it seems to be a quality product, but I wish it would have a volume control. I don't mind the sounds but Elmo singing can get on your nerves a little after a half hour or so.
