I got this for my granbaby who's 2 years old. She sleeps with Elmo, drags him around inside and outside the house and he still works. The volume is perfect and the clarity of the ABC singing is great. She sings her ABC's with Elmo and laughs when he laughs. Great educational toy for a child learning ABC's.
