This is a really cute set of books. My two year old daughter loves them. Luckily she isn't the type to rip pages out, because the pages are all very thin. When I bought this, I thought they were hard books, but they actually aren't...which is fine. All of the stories seem to rhyme, and my daughter loves rhymes :)

My grand daughter is crazy about Elmo.
Her Mom couldn't get her to sit to let her read through a whole book.
With THESE Elmo books she not only sits but interacts by asking her Mom questions. Plus now she wants to read MORE than one book.
GREAT buy for a start to reading for my grand daughter.

These books are great, they read well, and are full of lots of colorful pictures.. but my son is a "shredder" and the first thing he did was rip the pages. They should not call a book a board book if it has paper pages.. shouldn't a board book have all board pages?? I have to put these up till he outgrows this stage.

The collection has 4 different themes. It helps to introduce daily situation to younger children.

Bought these for our little granddaughter for Christmas....she loves them! Great product for the money.

These are hardcover books. My 2 1/2 year old loves Elmo so I bought them for her. She used to have a softcover version of one of them but she ripped it so I bought these as a replacement. At this age she loves the pictures more than the actual stories and they keep her busy in the car or restaurant.

I have 2 year old Grandchildren who love Elmo, so this collection was right up there with the items they love.

My son, as well as myself, loves the stories of these books! He is almost 2 and obsessed with Elmo and since they say these are BOARD books I thought it was a perfect, adorable set! Unfortunately they really need to update their description of these books! These are in fact NOT BOARD BOOKS- but rather board covered books with super thin paper pages! Again- Cute Books! Adorable stories! Horrible book structure! Bad choice of words for product description!

Items were typically good sesame street books. The only problem I have is, they're for my 1 year old. She going to destroy those thin paper pages and I know it. Oh well, another dollar for Elmo, another dollar for me to spend replacing what he sold me. Lol. Very good stories in the books though.

These books are great, as most sesame street items are. There are 4 books in the set with paper pages. This is an important fact in my house because my child is ruthless on books & we are in need of board pages. Also, the stories are long to read. We read a lot. Which means we read the same books 8 million times &/or we get as far as page 3 and my daughter is ready to move on. So the stories being long are hard on her father & I as we are sleep deprived people and don't have the faculties to manage a page of text at the end of the day, not to mention our hyperactive angel has yet to hear the end of 3 out of 4 of these books. There is 1 book that is short & sweet, we read that one a lot. I do like these books & my child is obsessed with all things sesame street so worth getting, but if you don't have a kid that is very still and understands you don't rip books, I'd wait until they were over 2... At least.
