The Sescom LN2MIC-ZMH4-MON cable is designed for portable digital audio recorders and mic preamps with a single output jack. This jack is typically used for headphone monitoring or connecting to a DSLR audio input for recording. The LN2MIC-ZMH4-MON Y-Splitter cable allows you to do both monitoring and recording from a single output jack. It also features a -25dB L Pad attenuator on both audio channels to reduce the Prosumer Line Level output (-10dBV) to your camera's mic input sweet spot level. It's the perfect mating cable for Zoom H4N recorders when connecting to Canon D5 MkII but also works great for other similar mic preamps and DSLR cameras that require 25db of attenuation. The cable is designed with the proper impedances to assure maximum voltage transfer and low noise operation. The cable shield is isolated on the camera end to prevent shield noise from directly coupling into the camera connector ground. The cable allows users to go directly from the audio recorder into the camera and also monitor with headphones, creating a compact and elegant interface solution. All resistors values are 1% metal film to assure similar voltage attenuation between the stereo inputs. Cable ends are labeled for proper connection.
yes it does what you want it to do. Plus they add a sticker but it doesn't make up for how much they charge for thisPublished 20 days ago by Mikio H.
I bought this cable in order to record sound from a H4n on a Eos 5D Mark III but it doesn't work, the noise is worse than with a standard 1/8 to 1/8 cable.Published 1 month ago by REN
If you've ever tried to use a regular 1/8" patch cord to plug something into your camera, you will see that the signal comes in way too raw and hot. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Martin E. Polio
Combined this with my H4N and Canon T3i and now I can both record and monitor the audio while shooting.Published 3 months ago by Lyn Askin
With the new DSLR video productions, the sound recording is not the greatest with the on-camera mic. Read morePublished 5 months ago by Albert Rubio
Just what I needed. Works well. Wish the cord was a little longer. Had to buy an extension cable to go from my audio source to the camera. I would prefer more attenuation. Read morePublished 7 months ago by Gadget Guru
It works fine but I'm giving it 3 stars because it doesn't match the picture. The picture shows three gold-plated connectors while the cable that I received has only one... Read morePublished 7 months ago by Buyer333
Works just as advertised, and I got it next day! The headphone monitor sure makes things much easier. The choice was to get this cable with or without the headphone monitor? Read morePublished 7 months ago by Electro Geek
