Imagine that the top studio drummer of the 20th century decides to work on some material and jam with some of his very talented colleagues. Imagine that Steve Gadd invites you to come over and watch from right next to him so you can not only hear but actually see this guy execute some of the most amazing chops ever laid down on a drum kit. Would you in a million years turn down that invitation? This dvd is like being there... it is one of the best drum dvds I've ever seen. If you have an interest in drums, you will love this dvd. If you are a drummer, this is one you should NOT miss.

I currently own the VHS version of IN SESSION, and I'm thrilled that it's finally out on DVD! Steve Gadd is one of my all time favorite drummers (along with Buddy Rich, Danny Gottlieb, Ian Paice, Alex Van Halen, and Peter Criss), and IN SESSION captures not only wonderful drumming, but also great interviews with the one and only Steve Gadd!
