The stools were easy to put together. For the price i paid, they are a pretty good deal.
One thing that its missing is the plastic inserts at the bottom of each leg, to avoid scratching hardwood floors. I had to get my own!!

Also one piece in the set was wrong. I called up the company and they shipped me a correct piece without any further hassle.

I had been looking for 24-inch bar stools for my breakfast bar, but everything was too tall or too expensive. These are well made and were reasonably priced. The order arrived promptly and the merchandise was as described. I'm happy with my purchase.

I was skeptical of buying stools site unseen but they exceed the quality that thier price point might indicate. Assembly was easy and they have held up well. The only drawback is that they are slightly shorter than my existing counter height chairs and the padding could be more dense. All-in-all a good buy if you're looking for some supplemental seating.

The stools are great! For the price I couldn't have asked for anything better. My mom spent twice as much somewhere else and I like mine a lot better!

Easy to assemble and they look great. They are a little shorter than I expected for counter height.

2 of the 4 leg assemblies arrived broken- the wood itself is broken so there is no fixing it. I tried to follow link to seller to request replacement parts but cannot find any contact info and amazon customer service only gave option of returning the whole set, or contacting the manufacturer. I needed these bar stools for Christmas and I really like the one I was able to assemble. It is comfortable and was easy to assemble as well. BUT it is not worth the price for just ONE (to me anyway). I will try to contact the manufacturer after the rush of holidays are over but I guess for now I have to go find another bar stool at a store for our holiday seating issues....
I was planning to order the taller bar stools too- glad I waited.

I purchased 2 sets (4 chairs) back in October, 2011. I was a little skeptical of these since they are priced so much lower than typical bar stools. They are definitely a cheap set of furnature, but for our use, they will work just fine. They support my 260 lbs frame just fine. And at this price, we can replace them easily if needed.

Putting them together was not dificult and took about 5 minutes per chair. I can see how some may have had problems with the holes not lining up perfectly, but a rubber mallott took care of that problem easily. The screws that came with the assembly kit are VERY CHEAP, the screw heads broke off while tightening. Finally, I just used some wood screws I already had and that worked much better.

Shipping charges are high, but we received the merchandise 3 days after our purchase! All in all, I am satisfied enough that I bought another set, to finnish off our open kitchen counter space.

I purchased this set, the first stool assembled easily and is comfortable. The second chair: the supporting leg snapped immediately during assembly leaving the dowel (hole) jammed full of the remaining wood (unusable). I contacted the vendor and after ten emails or so (they are poor to work with) they sent me the replacement legs. When they arrived (now seven weeks into the purchase) I find they did not include the hardware (bolts) and the seat itself is missing the threaded portion of the insert to attach the seat to the legs making it worthless.

Customer Service = slow, unresponsive and hard to work with in general
Product quality = average when assembled

Would I purchase again? NO. I am still waiting for the Cust. Service group to respond to me for either a full credit or a new seat that is able to accept the hardware for assembly.

I ordered it 10/16 - it is now 12/4 and I still do not have a working "set" of chairs. I have one assembled and sitting next to a $ 12.00 wooden bar stool waiting for my completed set - what a let down and eye sore.

My advie: Save the $ 58.00 and spend another $ 40 at a reputable home store.

and great value for money. However, they are not as high as I expected - they are slightly less than 24 inches and, when you sit down, the cushioning goes a little flat. They definitely feel a little short for my counter-high breakfast bar. They do look pretty good though, and you can't beat the price! I bought 4 but am only using 2, so if they don't last as long as I hope, then I have an extra pair!
