I bought this brand of toaster bags (from a different retailer), and the first time I used them, one of the bags melted, making a decent-sized hole. This defeated my purpose of keeping my gluten-free bread safe from contamination by all the gluten crumbs in the toaster at work. It's possible that the toaster at work gets hotter than normal toasters, but I would think most users would be using this sort of toaster at work, hotels, etc.

I bought these for Christmas presents for my family and friends because they all love mine. 3 of the 5 packages of toaster bags that I bought have started on fire while in the toaster and had to be thrown away :( I would not recommend buying these as they are not safe to use.

These bags are great. We travel with them- even if it's just to grandma's house. My son has food allergies and we can now use anyone's toaster without the worry that his bread will become contaminated by something that was previously in the toaster. We just wash them out and they're ready for next time.

Don't waste your money

Great Idea but Didn't Work as Expected
I have used one bag twice to reheat leftover thin sliced pizza. The pizza slice had to be trimmed because to was too wide and tall to fit into the bag. Read more

Handy helper.
This item actually does work people. If you want a grilled cheese sandwich without butter on the bread it will toast just fine. Just experiment and you see it a lot of uses. Read more

Why I choose this rating:
I need gluten free food so when I travel I bring my own bread and using the bags I can have restaurants make my toast and not have it contaminated by the non gluten food.
