I bought this brand of toaster bags (from a different retailer), and the first time I used them, one of the bags melted, making a decent-sized hole. This defeated my purpose of keeping my gluten-free bread safe from contamination by all the gluten crumbs in the toaster at work. It's possible that the toaster at work gets hotter than normal toasters, but I would think most users would be using this sort of toaster at work, hotels, etc.

I bought these for Christmas presents for my family and friends because they all love mine. 3 of the 5 packages of toaster bags that I bought have started on fire while in the toaster and had to be thrown away :( I would not recommend buying these as they are not safe to use.

These bags are great. We travel with them- even if it's just to grandma's house. My son has food allergies and we can now use anyone's toaster without the worry that his bread will become contaminated by something that was previously in the toaster. We just wash them out and they're ready for next time.

The grilled cheese sandwich never was better. But at the third time I used the bag it melted when the sandwich was in the toaster. I don't know if maybe using a wider toaster would be the solution or if it is it's life spam.

I bought these bags to go on vacation. We rented a beach house and I needed to be able to toast my gluten free bread in the same toaster with everyone else.

They worked for the time I was on vacation. Though on the last day, one of the bag corners got a little to close to the heating elements and started to melt a hole in the bag. The bag lasted for two weeks, but I didn't use it every day. All in all it is a little expensive to be able to use the bags only 5 to 7 times before they start breaking.

These bags work just like advertised. I can have a grilled cheese anytime I want without the extra fat from butter and no dirty pan.

These are great for traveling when you have to share a toaster with wheat products.

Toast It Toaster Bags turn your toaster into a mini oven. You can make grilled cheese sandwiches, French toast, warm up cold pizza, or even make garlic bread using your toaster. No need for butter or oil! The bags are especially useful for letting the kids prepare snacks after school.
To make a grilled cheese sandwich take two slices of bread and the filling slices of American or Swiss cheese and ham if desired. Place the sandwich ingredients in the bag with the open side to the top and place it in the toaster and set the desired darkness setting. Toast as usual.
To make French toast place two eggs in a bowl with a tablespoon of milk, beating well. Dip the bread into the egg mixture. Place the bread in the Toaster Bag and toast as usual making sure the bag is open at the top.
To make garlic bread, spread a piece of bread with garlic butter, place in the bag and toast.
You are limited only by your imagination.
You may use the bags in any type of toaster, sandwich maker, toaster oven or table top grill as long as it does come into contact with an open flame.
The bags are coated with Teflon, can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher and are reusable. Two bags come in each package and are approximately 5 inches by 7 inches.

I ordered these "Toast It" bags because I already had some "Toastabags" and they were too small. The description of these bags says 9.8 x 7 when they are actually 6.25 x 6.785. This makes them slightly smaller than the toastabags.

This product is hard to fing anywhere and when you finally find it could last for months, keeping your toaster clean and also does not let the breads have contact with the inner sides of it. I just love this item.
