We ordered these stools because we have a 44" bar height and there aren't many stools around that deal with that height and also have arms. They look good and are extremely easy to assemble. The retro feel works with our room.

We knocked off 2 stars for two reasons:

Firstly, we have a thick carpet and the circular bases on these stools dig in making them a bit "wobbly" (they are fine on the tiled floor).

Secondly, because we need them extended to the top of their range, there isn't very much overlap between the upper and lower halves. Therefore, more "wobbliness".

So, they don't quite work for our set-up but we still like them and so we're keeping them.
