Have you read this book?,
This review is from: Seth Dreams and Projections Of Consciousness (Paperback)
Janes writing gave me a quantifying look into the Seth material. How Jane has put this book together is fascinating, and extremely well managed. How Jane herself at times struggled with the Seth material and how she furthered her own inner exploration can be an intellictual roller coaster. I can hear now the psychologists..."she is crazy!"I refute: Robert Pirsig pp.151-2 ZMM "But what's happening is that each year our old flat earth of conventional reason becomes less and less adequate to handle the experiences we have and this is creating widespread feelings of topsy-turviness. As a result we're getting more and more people in irrational areas of thought...occultism, mysticism, drug changes and the like...because they feel the inadequacy of classical reason to handle what they know are real experiences." The title of this book explaines much of the content. Jane explores her early visitations with Seth and her discoveries along the way. While in 1966-77 Seth Dreams... was rejected by three separate publishers. In addition, Rob's introduction written in 1985, after Janes' death, is a most welcome sight. Excerpt: "Jane began dictating Seth Speaks in January 1970. In March, Tam sighned her to a contract fro Seth, Dreams...on behalf of Pretice-Hall. The Seth Material was published. Jane was on a creative roll. She kept changing and adding to the portions of Seth, Dreams...that she hadn't used in The Seth Material, while at the same time her new work kept crowding it out. Finally, in 1971 Tam converted her contract for Seth, Dreams... into one for Seth Speaks." This book is seperated into three parts. The beginning of the book Jane begins with the starting of the Seth material then flowing to part two exploring the inner world of consciousness further, inner senses, Seth answers, etc. Part 3 has more technique driven contents. Throughout this book is Jane's beautiful poetry, The Trees in the Forest pg.117 Chapter 14 Dreams and Health, in my view is expecially helpful. Included is "How to Use Dreams to Promote Health." As with the Seth material the discussion of health always enters the picture, and very rightly so. These particular chapters were of help to me but the entire book builds on itself and progresses through certain explorations very nicely. Furthermore, Jane's chapter infolding of certain Seth sessions brings her work to an elevation of understanding. Only after reading do I now see her progression throughout the book. Before reading, I did not know what to expect from Jane's interpretation of her experiences as well as Seth's material. However, I am simply fascinated with this book, it floored me! Having Jane's chronicle of her experiences with the Seth material, and without, gave me tremendous new insights. Having read: Lucid Dreaming, also Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen LaBerge, Jean Campbell, Strephon Kaplan, Jung, etc... Seth and Jane showed me the way. I left out much of the material in this book because there is so much contained within. Some of what Jane has written and Seth has stated seems utterly unbelievable, but what if it is true? I know how Jane would answer.

This is by far the best book on dreams and the OOBE I've ever read. It answers the questions that all the others leave hanging. The information rings true with personal experience, and you'll wake up in the night and think, " Of course, that's how it works! Never thought of that...." Highly recommended!

This is one of the best books to learn about reality manipualtion and how to go about exploring the multifaceted ways of personal existence and identity. Jane, Seth and Robert have given all of us invaluable richness and the tools to explore our own realities closely.Compelling reading and working because it is interesting enough to capture the mind and fascinating enough to make imagination work in a guided way.

I decided to experiment and try the dream diary, as well as making suggestions to myself prior to sleep. I had immediate results. This book may be hard to follow at times and you may have to read a paragraph several times to fully understand the meaning; however, the book is well worth the time spent to gain the knowledge. This one is a keeper for me.

A lovely Seth book,

This is an interesting book, since it goes back to the days when Jane was new to Channeling and Seth. I used to just read the Seth text in other books, and kind of skip the Rob/Jane interactions, but in this book, you should read everything as Jane really explains what is going on, and the excerpts of channeling are very interesting but go hand in hand with Jane's text.
All in all a fascinating book, Jane/Seth never disappoint me.

Invaluable for all Dreamers,

All of us dream - be it by night or day. Daydreaming and make-believe is really what keeps our world together. Jane/Seth's insights in conscious projections has bee a constant companion to my own work. Above all, this book is easy to read and easy on the mind. One does not have to jumpy through great intellectual hoops to come to a reasonable personal insight. Forget the multiple choice question and answer type books. Most items published on such matters give prefabricated 'bite size' morcels of information. As if you and I could not (or should we not want to?) think of our own accord. People tend take those instant results intellectually on board, without ever experiencing what they could be and are saying, in their own unique way. Experience is and remains the only way to make reality your own - the only way to add your own voice and communicate what you are about. Your own contribution to make the world go round. It is good to see that Jane/Seth's subtle approach makes you do just that - experience quite awarely what you read, over time. One can learn to make and fill that and any time with this book.

I love reading channeled material. I love the concept. Whether its just the authors imagination, or an actual entity speaking through a medium, Im fascinated by the concepts.
I read many different channeled authors at one period in my life. They're fun, good for some personal growth ideas. And then there's Seth. Seth's concepts are not cutsy fables, presented by a channel for light reading. Seth is like the Noam Chomsky of channels. His writing is of such a magnitude and quality of depth, that he leaves other channels far behind. I enjoy having my mind blown by powerful concepts. Even taking them as purely theoretical. I found just checking his world view out enriched my experience of my own life profoundly. You don't need to think of any of it as "the TRUTH" or "THIS is the WAY". There's a million points of view out there. I just found Seth's point of view absolutely fascinating, well expressed, and worth the time to read. If you're someone who loves ideas for the sake of ideas, and want a very empowering way to view the world, read Seth. At all times his words seek to place one in touch with ones own power. He speaks to encourage individuals to take full responsibility for their own beliefs and to take responsibility for ones own life. His books aren't "new age fluff". They are not "oh just think positive." These are very real, very genuine essays on how to truly face ones own life. He is very aware of how nuanced our minds are at hiding from ourselves. He's like the best wise man of the village. These pages are full of loving empowering wisdom, a humorous poking at our egoism and limited beliefs.
