If you've never heard of (Luciano) Ligabue, then you don't know what you've been missing. Listen to the sold out crowd singing along to all the songs, in the (Roman-built) Verona arena, and you'll soon realize that Italy has been hiding a treasure from the rest of the world!!!
This perfectly recorded collection of songs represents his best, and if that isn't enough, the band is accompanied by a 70+ piece Verona orchestra!! My only regret is that the accompanying DVD is in PAL format, but luckily I have a DVD player which can handle it. I think it should play on a computer as well. You have to watch the DVD to appreciate the complete concert, and the impact this man has on his countless fans. |
