This is what I think is rockabilly at its finest, as well as Matchbox at their best. I have all of their LPs & this has been an absolute favorite in my entire collection.All are tight, uptempo, rockin' & catchy tunes. I waited years for this to be on CD and was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality (fantastic! gives the LP a new life) and an extra little few seconds on the title track is neat too. Don't even think about it - buy it now!

This album was released a few years after 'Riders in the sky' and a couple of years before they hit it big with 'Rockabilly Rebel'. This is Matchbox at their very best. All the tunes are very well done with great production.Tracks that really stand out are: 'Settin' the woods on fire' and 'Put the blame on me'. You can't help stompin' & singing along! Great stuff! Real well produced rockabilly with a slight country taste. I've been a Matchbox fan since the late 70's and this is the finest.
