As someone who has used the power of setting goals to move forward with weight loss and business endeavors, I really liked the simplicity of this book. The exercises and templates in the book are very easy to use and the author uses examples that anyone can relate to and use to design their own personal goals. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking to get serious about forward momentum in any key area of life.

The table of contents (5 pages) is longer than the content for each of the "goal setting templates"... each template is just 3 questions answering what-how-when and nothing more. Possibly useful for someone who has never set a goal before. Very basic and was hoping for something much more detailed.

If you have read books about goal setting, such as the ones by Brian Tracy and others, you would know the importance of writing down the goals and then reading them out everyday. This is one of the most important aspects of being able to achieve the goals.

In this book, the author has provided ready to use templates and worksheets with step by step instructions for different types of goals. The user just needs to fill in the blanks to personalize it.

This is really an awesome tool to put goal setting into action.

This book does a good job of explaining what goal setting is all about, why you should use it and how to go about it. The only reservation I had was that I would have liked to have seen the chosen time span being broken down into a number of stages. So instead of just saying "I want to achieve X in 30 days", this would be broken down into the various steps detailing HOW you will achieve the goal within the 30 days. "After 10 days I will be at this stage" and so on. However, having said that, there is nothing to stop you carrying out this extra step yourself. All in all, an extremely handy guide and templates.

I strongly believe in the law of attraction. A few months ago I wrote a few random things I wanted to achieve on a piece of paper and forgot about it - or so I thought. Recently I found the paper and was pleasantly surprised that I had in fact achieved every one of them. This I believe is the power of the sub-conscious mind.

I picked up this handy guide to prepare a list of goals in the 7 key areas as defined in this book. It is not a book on "goal setting" per se but as the name suggests a set of templates to putting down on paper what you want to achieve in each area. Defining goals in this way not only sets you on the path to achieving them. It also gives purpose and direction to your life.

Great tool - recommended - buy!

To me nothing in this book even closely resembles an actual template. What it actually is is 7 examples of goals with a couple of fill in the blanks for the reader to fill in.
