Book Description

Michael-John Wolfe, a Hollywood actor and a professional chauffeur, has compiled seven compelling stories of life-changing encounters with a variety of famous people. In some cases the celebrities are the main catalyst in the story; in others their presence simply helps make the story special. If you want to know what it’s like to be on the set of major feature films and work with people like Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, and Martin Scorsese—read on.

Go behind the scenes and see life through the eyes of a struggling actor trying to make it in Hollywood. Discover the unique ways Michael-John was able to attain speaking roles in major feature films opposite Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt without being cast in either movie. Other stories include humorous, heartwarming accounts that feature director Martin Scorsese, actor Thomas Gibson, retired New York Mets second baseman Tim Teufel, and past NFL stars Jason Sehorn and Walter Payton. This extraordinary collection of memoirs is sure to leave you wanting more. (20,000 words)

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice mix of stories January 15, 2012
By Zephyr7
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
As the author put it, this is not a collection of TMZ scandalous stories. It is in fact a pleasant mix of his experiences and how the celebrity encounters impacted his life. It is written in a very readable, conversational style. When I reached the end of the book, I found myself wishing that he had met more celebs so I had more to read. It is a short read and that is okay, kind of like having an old friend come to visit, catching you up on his life and then leaving before awkwardness can set in. I got it when it was free. I would have paid.

5.0 out of 5 stars A walk on the bright side April 15, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I found Mike's stories to be very encouraging and uplifting. In addition to providing a behind the scene look at working in the film industry, they remind us to keep our dreams alive. And in some small way I was affected.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not a lot here but worth a read if inexpensive February 15, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Writer seems like a nice guy. Making a few bucks from his minimal experiences in LA which hard to blame him. Fairly interesting stories.

A short but fun read. Wolfe goes to LA to be a working actor and has the chance to be in scenes with major actors.

Quick and easy read. Great short stories to fill an empty afternoon. I think everyone enjoys a little peak behind the curtain that is Hollywood.
