5.0 out of 5 stars Best movie I have seen in a while! January 12, 2011

I bought this movie and not only did it ship to me quickly the actual product didnt disappoint me. I absolutely loved it! The cast is mostly young except for a few adults and it has a very good way of illustrating the Seven Deadly Sins in a way that hasnt really been touched on yet. This is targeted to a more mature audience so you should definitely be at least 13 to watch it if not even a little bit older than that. The movie revolves around a group of teenagers and their decisions (sins) and the consequences of those decisions. The Sins are called deadly for a reason. I am really particular about the movies I watch and I give this movie a solid 5 stars! The acting was Great, the transitions were smooth and the camera work was top of the line. Couldnt ask for anything more.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great Premise Lost in Overbearing Length - Avoid It November 13, 2011

This had all the right ingredients: great cinematography, midling acting by good looking twenty-somethings, plausible and scary revenge twists, and a good kick of retribution/karma/justice. Then -- if you get this far it's AFTER the car accident-and we've come full circle- the whole film all begins to unravel. It's as if the editor just left the room and let the reel go. The movie is no longer a movie - it's a three hour rehash left-turn to boringsville with self congratulatory morality and putrid saccharine lectures. P. U.

This movie was very dark in nature and did not have the ending showing any great lessons learned. Boring, boring, boring.

I first saw this movie on lifetime and loved it. It's 4 hours long but too me, it's well worth it. I had to have my own copy. It came very quickly and I watched it the day I got it. It's sad, funny, and full of life lessons. Very good movie.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a ramp in the circles of hell! March 14, 2014

A modern Dante with seven young people, each showcasing one of the seven deadly sins. The appeal is that of a serial or soap-opera, but the cast's working together creates a dynamic, realistic set of conflicts among teens who are close to graduation. Each makes his own mistakes, and each will account for his "sins." A very good flick, but beware--it is nearly three hours long.

KInda long but it is a sort of good comparison to high school minus the short skirts and perfect bodies.

Need watch again before I return to library, but sometimes great acting, great plot, and interesting perspectives. I did not know Lucifer left heaven because of Pride, for example. Read more
