More About the Author

Zola Levitt was the most beloved and well-known Messianic Jewish Bible teacher and Middle East commentator of his day. He was a Jewish Christian thoroughly educated in the synagogues and brought to the Messiah in 1971. He held music degrees from Duquesne University and Indiana University (doctoral coursework completed), and an Honorary Th.D. from Faith Bible College. He played the oboe, English horn, recorder, and piano.

He is best known for hosting the weekly national television program Zola Levitt Presents. He formerly hosted two top-rated radio talk shows -- The Heart of the Matter in Dallas, and the nationally syndicated Zola Levitt Live.

Zola was a widely published author with more than 50 books in several languages, and the composer of some 200 spiritual songs, personally performed on most of his albums.

Zola lectured and hosted on more than 100 tours to Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, the areas of the seven churches, Mediterranean islands, European capitals, etc. He taught a course on "Christ in the Old Testament" at Dallas Baptist University and gave seminars at other education institutions.

Zola Levitt, founder and patriarch of Zola Levitt Ministries, died peacefully on April 19, 2006 at his home in Dallas, Texas, following a courageous two-month battle with lung cancer. He was 67 years old.

Those he left behind mourn his passing but celebrate his "promotion the Head Office." They include his beloved wife Sandra; a son Mark, who takes the lead in administrating this ever-expanding worldwide ministry; a son Aaron, who participates behind the scenes, helping with writing, editing, and more; and a stepson Will. With Ken Berg--Zola's faithful producer of 28 years--and a dedicated staff of professionals, the Levitt legacy continues, as it will until the Second Coming of our Lord.

Zola Levitt was on TV for many years before he died the other year with cancer. He was just a small ministry that was concerned only with ministering. This series he had on the 7 feasts of Israel was one of his best. It truly brought to light the scriptures. Zola was an original. He didn't ask for money or put on a big show. It was just one half hour each week of good bible study. He will truly be missed. His wife Sandra continues the ministry with Jeffrey Seif. We need more people like Zola Levitt Ministries.

I read this book several times over the last 13 years and it remains a favorite study guide for me. Absolutely incredible that anyone could put so much information into so few pages. Clearly God was with Zola when he wrote this book. For anyone interested in purchasing this book, it may be bought directly from Zola Levitt Ministries for about three dollars. Why it is so expensive from the sellers listed on Amazon, I have no idea. I would highly recommend this book to anyone believer or not. It is very thought provoking and remarkably simple to read.

This book is probably the best buy I have ever made. It is so completely eye opening that I cannot even express in words how I feel about it. I will try though.

After 20 years of turning my back on Messiah and Christianity in general due to lack of any meaningful upbringing, and lack of any meaningful understanding, I have finally found my Beloved Savior for the first time. I began my quest to know God the Father and Jesus the Son by reading my Bible for the first time all the way through. While I gained some knowledge I know most of it slipped by me and that is when I began searching for a deeper truth.

And I found this treasure of truth by Zola Levitt. What a gift we are given and it has been hidden in plain sight right in front of our eyes the entire time.

Thank you Zola Levitt for helping ones like me gain a better appreciation of the amazing gift of our Messiah.

If you are a Christian, a Follower of Jesus Christ, a believer in Messiah... and you do not know the meanings of the Feasts of Israel, aside from basic surface knowledge of them, you must read this book. I guarantee it will change your whole understanding and take you deeper spiritually.

Zola Levitt lays out the feasts to the reader as God commanded the Israelites. He expounds upon the timing of these feasts and shows the correlation between them and occurences in history to present day. The birth process from the seed to birth follows God's timing of the feasts. Astounding reading.

This is one of the best explanations of what the Feasts are, why they are celebrated and what they actually mean. There is one section on the comparison of the gestation and birth of a baby to the life of Christ that blew me away. I have purchased many of these to give away as gifts because they are SO wonderful. A highly recommended read for all.

I loved the way Zola showed the connection between the feasts in the Old Testament and the Rapture. Even though I have been a Christian since age 9 and am now 73, I never learned much about the feasts. I am really sorry that I waited so long. Most pastors do not preach a lot about the OT and it is a shame. The OT is revealed in the NT and the NT is hidden in the old. It is paramount that we learn about both in order to have a good understanding of God's word. I am working on learning as much as I can about God's people Israel and praying each day for peace in Jerusalem as we are instructed in Psalm 122. Things are happening very fast and end times are approaching quickly. We need to be as prepared as possible and that includes knowing how the feasts and the blood moons fit into end times things. D. Zola Levitt has done an outstanding job of taking the seven feasts of Israel and making them easy to understand and how they apply to Christians.

The Seven Feasts Of Israel has WAY, WAY too much about the rapture and not near enough about the feasts and their impact upon the Jewish people as well as their meaning for today. The Feasts were instituted a long, long, long time before the rapture was even part of man's theology, and yet the author tries to weave that theology into the Feasts. Very disappointing.
