Christmas music is only a day or two for me. Here you have Neil Young on organ! AND vocals! Also Johnny Cash and many more. Ben Keith has been playing with Neil Young for decades. This is his side project. but has all the musicians that they play with over the years! If you like Christmes music give this a try!
Personally - I love Neil Young & Johnny Cash & their input of Vocals on this album - I purchased it for many reasons, but having Neil & Johnny finalized the deal!
Any Neil or Johnny fan would most likely enjoy this album of them & their friends making sweet old Christmas music in good fun together.

Ben Keith is a very talented musician/producer and this recording is solid proof. Joined by an all star cast, Ben soothes and slides his way through some traditional Christmas favorites. Personally, I could do without the vocals (not that I don't appreciate Neil Young, Johnny Cash, etc.) it's just that I think Ben could have pulled off releasing an all instrumental recording. His pedal steel guitar playing is excellent (as always) and is a beautiful instrument to interpret these Christmas songs.
